Beth Dea
Beth Dea comes to Rise from Futurpreneur Canada, where she was the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships, working directly with the CEO. Beth joined Futurpreneur Canada in June 2010 as the Director of Programs, where she was responsible for the strategic direction of Futurpreneur’s mentoring and financing programs. In her partnerships role, Beth cultivated high-impact relationships with corporate, government, academic and non-profit organizations.
Prior to that, she was the Executive Director of a Toronto-based children’s charity, the Philpott Children’s Fund, for 5 years and worked at the Schulich School of Business’ Nonprofit Management Program. Beth holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business. She sits on the Advisory Committees of Venture for Canada and Access Employment Services and has held multiple board positions.
